One-Process Automation Sprints

One manual process.A much easier working week.

If your team keeps copying, checking or rebuilding the same information, show us the routine. We’ll work out what can be automated, keep the important decisions visible and agree the price before we build.

Start with the frustration

Good automation gives time back without hiding the work.

The aim is not to build the biggest system. It is to remove a repetitive burden, keep the judgement that matters with your people and leave the business with something it can understand.

Tell us about the routine
01

Start with the business pain

We look at the task, the time it takes and the result your team actually needs.

02

Keep the first scope controlled

Inputs, rules, outputs and exceptions are agreed before development begins.

03

Leave judgement with people

Uncertain cases and important decisions are routed to the right person, not hidden.

04

Make the handover useful

Your team receives operating notes and knows how the finished process works.

Clear ways to start

Choose by how much of the process you already understand.

Start with an assessment if the opportunity is still unclear. If the rules and result are already understood, choose the size of build that fits the workflow.

Show us where the working week gets stuck.

Tell us about the repetitive work in everyday language: who does it, where time disappears and what a better result would look like. You do not need to design the solution.

Is your process ready?

The best first automation is repetitive, explainable and genuinely worth fixing.

A sprint is a good fit when…

  • The task happens often and your team can explain the usual steps
  • You have examples of normal work and the awkward exceptions
  • Someone owns the process and can make decisions about the rules
  • You know where time, delay or rework is being created

Start with an assessment when…

  • The process changes every day or depends mainly on undocumented judgement
  • There is no reliable information or person responsible for the process
  • The aim is to replace the whole operating model in one small sprint
  • The result depends on third-party access that is not available

Not sure? Tell us what you are trying to achieve and we will recommend the most useful first step.

Make the opportunity visible

Put a number on the frustration, then shape a clearer brief.

Estimate what the current process costs and use a practical assessment template to organise the rules, exceptions and outcome.

The weekly report that takes half a day.

The weekly report that takes half a day.

Your spreadsheets may contain everything the business needs, but someone still spends hours copying, cleaning and rebuilding the same report. We can turn agreed Excel or Smartsheet inputs into a repeatable workflow with validation, clear measures and a dashboard or scheduled output designed around the decisions your team makes.
Orders and approvals keep bouncing between people.

Orders and approvals keep bouncing between people.

Order reconciliation, purchase approvals and invoice handling are good candidates when the rules are understood but people still move information between documents, inboxes and systems. A sprint can capture the inputs, apply agreed checks, send exceptions to the right person and create a useful record without hiding important decisions.
Useful information is trapped in emails and documents.

Useful information is trapped in emails and documents.

Information arriving in emails, PDFs, forms and attachments can often be organised before it reaches the systems your team works in. We agree the fields, checks and exception route so incomplete or uncertain information is shown to a person rather than processed silently.
Your website and back office do not talk to each other.

Your website and back office do not talk to each other.

Your website does not need to sit apart from the rest of the business. We can connect suitable WordPress and WooCommerce activity to reporting, fulfilment, customer or back-office workflows. We make feasibility, ownership and any third-party platform costs clear before you accept the implementation scope.

What happens next

From “we do this every week” to a process that helps.

A clear route from the routine your team knows today to a tested workflow it can operate tomorrow.

  1. 01

    Show us the routine

Tell us what starts the task, who does what, where time disappears and what the business needs at the end.

  2. 02

    Agree what good looks like

We map the information, rules, main output and human exceptions, then agree the fixed scope and price.

  3. 03

    Build and test it

We create the workflow and test it against real examples, including awkward cases that still need a person.

  4. 04

    Put your team in control

Your team receives the working process, straightforward operating notes and a clear route for future support.

A good first automation is easy to explain and useful to the people doing the work.

Look for a task that happens often, follows rules your team can explain and currently creates delay, repeated typing or avoidable mistakes.

The strongest projects also have an owner who can show us real examples and make decisions. Those examples should include the awkward cases as well as the usual route.

If the routine changes every day or depends mainly on human judgement, we may recommend an assessment before anyone invests in a build.

Good Places to Start
Weekly reports, order reconciliation, approvals, document extraction, workload planning and system-to-system data movement.
People Stay in Control
Exceptions and important decisions are made visible to the appropriate person rather than hidden inside the workflow.
After the Handover
Choose an agreed support arrangement or take ownership with the documentation and operating notes supplied.

Plan your first process and your next step.

Choose a manageable automation project, then explore broader integrations and development support.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does an automation sprint actually do?
It improves one repetitive business process without trying to replace everything at once. We map what starts the task, the rules, human exceptions and the result your team needs, then agree the price before building.
Can an automation sprint really be delivered in ten working days?
Suitable One-Process Sprints are planned for ten working days or fewer once the scope, access, sample data and approvals are in place. More complex connected workflows or operational systems receive a specific schedule with the fixed quote.
Can you work with the tools we already use?
Projects can involve Excel, Smartsheet, WordPress, WooCommerce, email, documents, databases, reporting tools and suitable third-party APIs. Feasibility depends on the quality of the data, available access and the interfaces provided by each system.
What can a small business automate first?
Good first projects are repetitive, rules-based and currently consume measurable staff time. Examples include weekly reporting, order reconciliation, approval workflows, document data extraction, workload planning and moving information between systems.
Are software and platform charges included?
The package covers the agreed Web Wonderland services. Any required third-party software, hosting, licences or usage charges are identified separately before implementation so the ongoing cost is visible.
What if we discover the process needs something extra?
We agree the first result clearly so the price stays dependable. If a useful extra emerges, we explain it and either plan it as a later phase or quote it separately rather than quietly expanding the original sprint.
Will our team receive documentation and a handover?
Yes. Every implementation package includes an appropriate handover and operating notes. Connected Workflow and Operational System packages include more detailed exception, configuration and support documentation.
Do you provide automation services outside Essex?
Yes. Web Wonderland is based in Chelmsford and works with SMEs throughout Essex and across the UK. Discovery, implementation reviews and handover can be completed remotely where appropriate.
